A "70% off" tag does not always mean a cheap deal. Sometimes the price is raised first and the discount is shown afterwards.
How to spot a real discount:
1. Do not look only at the MRP. Compare the price of the same product in two or three stores.
2. Check what the price has been over the last few days.
3. Read the terms of bank card offers. Often the discount applies only to certain cards or a minimum purchase.
4. Add delivery, installation and extra charges to see the total price.
5. Note the offer end date, but do not decide in a hurry.
